Philly’s Littlest Streets: Cuthbert

Philly is full of tiny residential streets worth a detour. In Old City off 2nd between Market and Arch (across from the Arden Theater), is the cobblestoned Cuthbert Street.

Cuthbert is a mix of multiunit and single family homes.

About the middle of the street are four colonial era houses, perhaps the best examples outside of Elfreth’s Alley.

Just beyond is a house covered in friezes salvaged from local buildings.
