A Neighborhood Bookstore

I was walking along South Street on the way home from taking pictures for my previous post, when I saw a sign I can’t resist at 1906 South.

The store is called Neighborhood Books, and is a well stocked two floor (although the basement is small) used bookstore weighted towards fiction.

I walked out with two books by Carl Hiaasen and Dennis Lehane.

The store has author t-shirts designed like sports apparel. They can be ordered online.

If you like bookstores, check out other bookstore posts here and here.

  1. So satisfying to find a new bookstore, isn’t it? I love the t-shirts. You will be due a commission!

  2. Watch parallel tense, as in: “…. pictures for my previous post, when I saw a sign I can’t couldn’t resist at 1906 South.”

  3. Carl Heiden is one of favorites.

Not clear whether you partook of the free lollipops, but knowing your OCD re: germs, l’d think not.
