Philly’s Little Streets: Lawrence

Old City is a prime tourist destination, but there’s one quaint street I bet few tourists have ever seen. I only recently discovered it despite being an Old City resident for a very long time.

Lawrence St. is between 4th and 5th off Vine, placing it at the northern edge of Old City. This block of small homes is also known as Captain’s Row, because supposedly these were built by ship captains. As far as I can find, the last house on this block for sale went for $433k two years ago.
