Rolled Ice Cream Finally Hits Old City

There are no shortage of ice cream options in Old City, but the several years old rolled ice cream craze passed the neighborhood by. Until today when a new place opened on Market near 3rd.

It’s an attractive, industrial looking space I thought was oddly designed with unused areas.

Playing journalist, I asked some questions and learned in a few weeks the back will open as a Middle Eastern grill.

But for now, it has a wide choice of ice cream options.

I went with the banana Nutella because I thought it would at least taste healthy.

As with any rolled ice cream, watching it being made is part of the experience.

I had mine topped with blueberries and blackberries. And a drizzle of chocolate.

There aren’t enough tables, but one cleared out just as my ice cream was finished.
