Get a Coffee and a Cat

Kawaii Kitty Cafe at 759 South 4th St. brings the Japanese cat cafe to Philadelphia. Kawaii means cute in Japanese, and the cafe is Japanese kitsch.

The cafe is divided in two parts. Facing the street is the cat room, where for $11 you can spend an hour with the cats. They are all available for adoption, so if you fall in love you can put in an application.

Down a hallway with windows into the cat room is the cafe.

I am allergic to cats, so the closest I got was this cat face hot chocolate.
